The United Voices for Peace Network
(UVPN) is an organization composed of enthused and empowered Muslim youth
leaders from the areas of Basilan, Cotabato, Davao, Lanao, Maguindanao,
Palawan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi and Zamboanga who are united and committed to voice
out and act together for the enlightenment, empowerment and development of the
Bangsamoro people in order to attain ALLAH S.W.T.’s Pleasure, Forgiveness and Mercy that will give
way to the true face of PEACE and PROGRESS in Southern Philippines. Since its
establishment in 2005, UVPN has been very active in upholding its noble
advocacy through conducting Islamic Seminars and Symposiums, Leadership
Trainings, Dialogues and Outreach Programs in different Moro communities with
the sole intention of Pleasing ALLAH S.W.T.

life's status.
OUR MISSION
Being a solid well-knit structure of young leaders and professionals who voice out and act for peace, United Voices for Peace Network is enthusiastically committed to uphold its mission of "inviting to all what is good, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong".
GOALS
In pursuit of its vision and mission, UVPN commits itself to:
a. Encourage and support the study and understanding of Islam
and Muslim people so as to promote positive outlook towards them;
b. Motivate the Muslim people to practice the true teachings
of Islam for them to be able to engage into a sincere and genuine peace
dialogue with the people of other beliefs and cultures;
c. Create a cadre of God-fearing and peace-loving
young leaders and professionals who will play the role of defending and
promoting the rights and general welfare of all citizens and other vital roles
that are remarkably significant in nation-building;
d. Develop a spirit of volunteerism and leadership
among people of different walks of life who will serve as frontiers in
sustaining the advocacy of the Association;
e. Promote and build-up camaraderie, brotherhood
and unity among members and other people that are highly committed to attain
genuine peace and progress among communities; and
f. Develop a strong sense of social responsibility
and national consciousness among people with the end view of contributing to
the establishment of a just and humane society.
PHILOSOPHY
United Voices for Peace Network highly believes that
intrafaith dialogue, which leads to a strong and sincere interfaith engagement,
is the primary walk in today's quest for a genuine peace among communities.
